Clients who have successfully completed the 10-week Entrepreneurship Training Course and who have a viable business plan are eligible to apply for this fund. The Business Assistance Fund (BAF) provides a grant contribution of up to $25,000. The amount of the BAF contribution will be determined based on the total eligible project costs. The grant must be paired with a direct loan at a 50%/50% ratio from the Tewatohnhi’saktha Business Loan Fund (TBLF) or the Kahnawà:ke Youth Business Fund (KYBF). A standard loan application form must also be completed. The fund is available for either business start-ups or expansions.
