Canadian Forces Housing Maintenance and Minor Improvement Services Request for Information
- The Government of Canada is planning a renewal of the Request for Information (RFI) for the delivery of Responsive Maintenance, Repairs and Minor Improvement Services on behalf of the Canadian Forces Housing Agency (CFHA).
- The proposed work under the renewed RFI includes, for example:
- Cleaning
- Carpentry
- Electrical
- Grass Cutting
- Heating and Air Conditioning
- Hardwood Flooring
- Hazardous Materials Abatement
- Landscaping
- Plumbing
- Painting
- Roofing
- Snow Removal
- Resilient Tile, Sheet Flooring & Carpet
Request for Information
- This Request for Information (“RFI”) is seeking specific information and feedback from Respondents to:

- Identify potential procurement improvement opportunities based on tangible, relevant private sector experience
- Inform industry of opportunities to provide maintenance, repairs and minor improvements for housing operated by the CFHA.
o Solicit industry input on the following: draft mandatory evaluation criteria, samples of the basis of payment, rankings, and on the feasibility of combining all trades for responses to call-ups for procurements.
- This RFI is not a bid solicitation, nor will it result in the award of any contract or creation of any source list.
Indigenous Participation
- The Government of Canada is committed to economic reconciliation with Indigenous peoples. Requirements for Indigenous participations will be required with eventual procurement.
