Tewatohnhi’saktha is hosting the Business Walk 2026 to better understand the current needs, priorities, and opportunities within Kahnawà:ke’s business community. Through short, face-to-face visits, survey teams will gather feedback that will help shape future programs, services, outreach, and business support planning.
Businesses on the pre-established route list may be visited during Business Walk 2026. A Business Walk drop-in will be available at Tóta Ma’s Café on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for businesses without a storefront. Eligible businesses that complete a verified Business Walk questionnaire will receive one $20 Shop Kahnawà:ke gift card and be entered into the Business Walk 2026 Prize Draw. Prize values are expected to include $250, $500, $750, and $1,000, with one prize awarded for every five verified eligible entries. Final details and eligibility rules will be confirmed.
What to Expect
Survey teams will visit businesses within assigned zones using a structured but conversational questionnaire. The visit is designed to be brief, respectful of your time, and focused on learning more about your business experience, support needs, and priorities.
