Tewatohnhi’saktha Announces Election Results for Board of Directors

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Kahnawà:ke (Seskehkó:wa/September 16, 2025) — On September 6, 2025, nominations were held to fill two seats on Tewatohnhi’saktha’s Board of Directors. Electoral Officer Herb Rice has announced the results.

The following individuals were nominated and elected by acclamation:

• Thawennontie Thomas
• Michael Thomas

The nominations were formally vetted and confirmed on September 15, 2025, during a duly convened meeting of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) Chief and Council.

The next meeting of the Tewatohnhi’saktha Board of Directors is scheduled for October 6, 2025.
