ATTENTION KAHNAWÀ:KE BUSINESSES – Business Interruption Fund
Businesses that have been directed to close as of December 24th,
2021 by the Kahnawà:ke Covid-19 Task Force can apply with
Tewatohnhi’saktha to access the Business Interruption Fund. If a
claim was filed in the last year, please contact the Business Services
Team member you spoke with to re-apply. New claimants can contact
Tewatohnhi’saktha reception and a Business Services Team member
will be assigned to assist you.
If your business has closed/suspended services as a result of
COVID-19 please follow these steps and contact our main office
Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm by telephone at 450-638-4280.
Steps to follow:
● Leave your business contact information, include phone numbers
and email addresses, if possible.
● A Business Services Team member will contact you to gather data
as to the financial impact on your business. Please be prepared to
have your fixed operating cost information on hand to speed up
the process.
Businesses will be assessed on a case by case basis and the level of
financial relief will be determined by a preset financial package
framework
