Job Creation Initiative
After thoroughly discussing your work experience and qualifications with a Workforce Development Counselor, and together develop an action plan. He/she will verify if you qualify for the Job Creation Initiative.
Together you will seek out an employer who may have a position available to suit your qualifications and experience. You then would become an employee of the employer for up to 26 weeks. Details regarding work hours and a work plan outlining the type of skills you will be learning, the type of work you will be doing, and salary information will be discussed with a Workforce Development Counselor.
The goal of the Job Creation Initiative is to help one gain the necessary skills and experience to be successful in the workforce.
