Sales of Shop Kahnawà:ke Certificates Soaring

Tewatohnhi’saktha is pleased to announce sales of Shop Kahnawà:ke Gift Certificates exceeds $20,000 since November 1st.
A total of $18,150 in certificates were sold through reception and $2,610 from the Shop Kahnawà:ke Kiosk setup in the lobby on Thursday, December 3, 2020. We surpassed our sales of $20,480 from the previous fiscal year. Tewatohnhi’saktha receives NO PROFITS through these initiatives, which are aimed to stimulate the local economy.

Over 130 businesses in the community accept the certificates from retail and services to leisure. During these uncertain economic times, it is more important than ever to shop local and support our businesses as we continue to ride out the second wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Shopping local and adhering to all the safety protocols set in place by the Kahnawà:ke Task Force during the holiday season will bring a much brighter future for 2021.

Shop Kahnawà:ke Certificates will continue to be sold through reception until December 18th or you can stop by the Kiosk to be held in the lobby of the Kahnawà:ke Business Complex Thursday, December 10 & 17 , 2020 from 9 am to 3 pm. (Covid-19 Safety Protocols in place when entering the building).
