Shop Kahnawà:ke Certificate Holiday Sales did not disappoint

IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Kahnawà:ke (Tsothohrhkó:wa/January 9, 2023)

Tewatohnhi’saktha is pleased to announce that a total of $29,585 in Shop Kahnawà:ke
Certificates were sold this holiday season; $10,000 short of last year’s sales, however
significant during these tough economic times.

Tewatohnhi’saktha introduced a second point of purchase location at the Kahnawà:ke
Welcome Center, next to the Kahnawà:ke Youth Center. “It was our intention to make
it as convenient as possible by having another location to purchase certificates in the
community,” says Daryl Leclaire, Interim Director of Business Services.

“We will continue to offer them year-round at this new location; however, we do ask
businesses to redeem their certificates at the Tewatohnhi’saktha reception desk in the
business complex.” said Leclaire.

Niawen’kó:wa going out to our community for supporting our Shop Kahnawà:ke Initiative.
