The ”Shop Kahnawà:ke First” is a promotional campaign supported by Tewatohnhi’saktha in an effort to encourage community members to purchase local products and services. This campaign is in support of our businesses to help stimulate our local economy.
We encourage Kahnawà:ke entrepreneurs to get involved in this campaign by contacting a Tewatohnhi’saktha Business Services Officer.
As a participating business, Tewatohnhi’saktha will promote your business through Shop Kahnawà:ke Campaigns in the local media and on our social media platforms. When signing up, you will receive a vinyl window sticker to promote that you accept the Shop Kahnawa:ke Certificates, a poster explaining the benefits of local shopping and information on how to redeem Shop Kahnawà:ke Certificates.
Shop Kahnawà:ke Certificates are available at reception of the Tewatohnhi’saktha Office. During special holidays, we setup a Kiosk in the Tewatohnhi’saktha Lobby to further promote local shopping.
Certificates are available in denominations of $5, $10 and $20. Entrepreneurs can redeem the certificates at the reception of Tewatohnhi’saktha on Mondays before noon to receive a reimbursement by cheque for Thursday of the same week.
