Business Interruption Fund (BIF) available to those Kahnawa:ke Businesses directed to close by the Kahnawa:ke Task Force
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Kahnawà:ke (Tsothohrhkó:wa/January 6, 2022) –
Businesses that have been directed to close as of December 24th, 2021 by the Kahnawà:ke
Covid-19 Task Force can apply with Tewatohnhi’saktha to access the Business Interruption Fund.
If a claim was filed in the last year, please contact the Business Services Team member you spoke
with to re-apply. New claimants can contact Tewatohnhi’saktha reception and a Business Services
Officer will be assigned to assist you.

“We invite the businesses who have been affected by the recent closures to contact Tewatohnhi’saktha
as soon as possible. We will be reviewing files and processing application cheques monthly.”
