Tewatohnhi’saktha Chief Executive Officer (CEO) resigns

Kahnawà:ke (July 9, 2020)

Kyle Delisle, Tewatohnhi’saktha Chief Executive Officer (CEO), resigned his position on Friday, July 3, 2020. Kyle has worked at Tewatohnhi’saktha for 20 years and started his career as a Business Services Officer in 1997 under the Kahnawake Economic Development Authority (now known as Tewatohnhi’saktha). He was soon pro-moted to Senior Business Development Project Officer for Tewatohnhi’saktha; a position he held for 17 years. In 2016, Kyle was again promoted to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Kyle worked diligently to bring new and innovative ideas to the Economic Development Commission and strived to help improve our economy. Kyle being a forward thinker also introduced and championed the Kahnawake Collective Impact Initiative during his tenure; the community is now seeing positive outcomes of this initiative.

The Board of Directors will be discussing a recruitment strategy to fill the position from CEO to Executive Director upon Barbara McComber’s retirement in September; Barbara presently holds the position of Interim CEO.
