Tewatohnhi’saktha is taking immediate measures to help slow the spread of the COVID19 virus

Kahnawà:ke (Monday, March 16, 2020)

Beginning today, Tewatohnhi’saktha offices on the 3rd floor of the Business Complex and the Welcome Center will be closed to the general public to help slow the spread of the COVID19 virus. All services remain available remotely and Tewatohnhi’saktha is requesting that all clients and visitors contact Tewatohnhi’saktha by telephone or email. Tewatohnhi’saktha employees are equipped to work remotely and will continue to provide services. In the event a complete shutdown of public buildings is ordered by the appropriate authority, essential services will continue to be provided virtually.

Arrangements are being made for all clients allowances and other client payments to be processed electronically. All other payments will be by mail.
We ask that everyone respectfully heed these precautionary measures in order to protect our community and in support of the world effort to slow the spread of this virus.
