Academic Upgrading

If the professional training that you’re interested in requires high-school credits or a diploma, this program can assist with completing those prerequisites. You have the option to choose from full-time or part-time Adult Education courses. You can apply for this type of training if you need or would like:

• A high school diploma.
• Academic upgrading to meet post-secondary entrance requirements.
• Academic upgrading to meet vocational training entrance requirements.
• Refresher training for admissions test preparation.

Upon completion of our academic counseling process, available funding includes:

• Tuition may be paid directly to the school or reimbursed upon receipt                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   • Books based on receipt and course schedule.
• Registration fees.

Vocational Training (ie. Carpentry, Welding, Accounting, Hairdressing, etc)

Upon completion of our vocation counseling process, available funding includes:

• Tuition fees up to $1500.
• Monthly living allowances.
• Travel allowances based on the distance travelled.
• Childcare reimubursements for children under 6 who attend daycare, etc.
• Equipment, materials & supplies are reimbursed upon receipt after one month
of program upon to $500 for a program. Based on a list supplied by the school.
• Registration fees.
