New Appointee to Tewatohnhi’saktha Board of Directors

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Kahnawà:ke (Kentenhkó:wa/November 4, 2025) — The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke has appointed Neil McComber to the Tewatohnhi’saktha
Board of Directors, following the resignation of Heather Bauersfeld on July 25, 2025.

Heather was appointed to the Board by the Mohawk Council on October 23, 2023, and served first as a member before being nominated as Chairperson. She graciously remained
on the Board until the Mohawk Council announced a new appointment to ensure a smooth transition.

“On behalf of Tewatohnhi’saktha, I would like to express my gratitude for the support and professional leadership Heather has shown to our organization. We are deeply appreciative and wish her all the best in her future endeavors,” said Tammy Delaronde, Executive Director.
